The Dirty Hooks
"Goddamn that's some kick-ass rock 'n' roll!" -
Deanna Rilling, Vegas Seven Magazine.

"This is one band I really want to hear more of. I been asked to mark this out of 6, with 6 being the highest mark I can give………..to hell with that, this is a 10." – Mark Timoney, MRU Magazine
"Dig the hard swingin' electric sizzle of Vegas' the Dirty Hooks..." - Jason Bracelin, Las Vegas Review Journal

"...tough cuss in a way that feels both bare-knuckled and remarkably erotic. You know, sex rock." - Max Plenke, Las Vegas CityLife Magazine

The Dirty Hooks is an Indie/Blues/Rock band formed in Las Vegas, Nevada in June 2010. The band features singer/baritone guitarist Bobby McCall, guitarist/keys Anthony Ratto and drummer/vocalist Jenine Cali.

Catchy guitar licks, heavy yet blues driven bass lines and complimentary drum beats and vocal harmonies bring it all together to explain the name taken on by the band…The Dirty Hooks. Creating a sound influenced by bands from The Dead Weather, The Kills, The Raveonettes to The Beatles and The Pixies, this trio still manages to create their own sound.

Collectively, the band members have played numerous shows locally, nationally and internationally, opening for such acts as Joan Jett, The Killers, Taproot, Soul Asylum, Angels and Airwaves and playing on stages at South By Southwest and Warped Tour. All three members have left their mark on the Las Vegas local scene and continue to do so with their first full-length album Electric Grit that was released May 2012.

After spending more than a year and a half working on their album and having their first show in June of 2012, the band has been receiving rave reviews. Electric Grit was voted "Best Local Album 2012" in Vegas Seven Magazine, receiving 4 out of 5 stars. In January of 2013, The Dirty Hooks were named one of 10 must see Vegas local acts in the Las Vegas Weekly and in April 2013 another review by MRU Magazine gave the band 6 out of 6 stars.
